Emil is a third generation firefighter in Upper Darby Fire Department.  He started his fire service career in 2000 as a volunteer firefighter at Highland Park Station 26.  In 2004 he was hired full-time with the Upper Darby Fire Department. He was recently promoted to the rank of Captain in May 2020, and is currently assigned at Squad Co. 26.
